The Mars Pathfinder was re-created in exact dimension and detail using NASA's drawing and engineering specifications for Jeff Bernstein Display. The replicated model of the Pathfinder was installed at the Michigan Space and Science Center in Jackson, Michigan.
Visitors to the center sit at Mission Control and watch the Lander and Rover operate in a simulated visit to the surface of Mars. Using different, cameras, the visitors can sent the rover to various locations on Mars' surface, while viewing the operation through three-dimensional glasses.
Technical specifications: Control system is MRU controlling 6 servo wheel motors, 2 servo steering motors, front camera, rear camera, Lander tower positioning camera, Rover proximity sensors and 3-D Imaging.
